    Extensive analytics of reservation, point-of-sale and financial data resulted in better decisions and quicker response to threats and opportunities throughout the health and wellness organization.
  • First Mission Critical, Fully-Integrated, SaaS Solution.
    Led from concept through production the development of a suite of modules with more than 99.9% uptime. Modules included point-of-sale, program registration, membership management, check-in, online scheduling, real-time payment processing, business intelligence, accounts receivable, and more.

    Led strategy, requirements analysis process, and product management to deliver product on-time and within budget.

    Complete analysis of patient through hospital system, appointment scheduling, assessment, billing, medical records. Provided business cases, requirments generation, project management and vendor selection.

Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency/Cleantech

    Current and recent renewable energy projects include:

  • Innovative Solar and Wind Approach Creates Baseload Solution.  
    Developed business cases and extensive financial models demonstrating affordable, baseload natural gas, wind and solar solution for multiple projects sought for development.
  • New Site Creates Green for Solar Sales Team.

  • Market Potential of Coal Substitute from Biomass for Co-firing.
    As interim vice president of finance, determined the market opportunity for renewable, carbon-neutral alternative to fossil coal.  Developed financial models for biomass-to-energy projects and presented analysis to investors and venture capital.
  • Creating Renewable Energy Projects in West Africa.
    Originated, developed & negotiated deals with Republic of Cote D’Ivoire working with President, President’s Cabinet, Ambassador and staff for projects & investment in excess of $100 million.
  • Acquisition of New-to-Market Solar Technology.
    Evaluated business opportunity for investment through the creation of framework to guide client in securing exclusive development rights to solar technology.
  • Increasing Energy Efficiency with SmartGrid Technology.

  • Developed World’s First Commercial-Scale Waste-to-Energy/BioChar Biorefinery.
    Prior to development assessed financial, operational, technical and market opportunity on behalf of investment firm.  Development phase included: site selection, feedstock commitments, power purchase agreement and carbon distribution and offtake agreements.
  • Biomass-to-Energy Technology Changes Industry.
    As interim vice president of business development, created commercialization strategy for technology acquired through University tech transfer.  Analysis provided an informed business decision including market, economic, financial and technical feasibility of commercializing technology.
  • Newly Commercialized Technology Expands Internationally. Developed business plan strategy and financial pro-forma for Canadian, USA and Central America biorefineries.  Created capital raising strategies and made presentations to investors, lenders and utilities.
  • Waste-to-Energy Start-up Gains International Sales Edge. 
    Global business development strategy and execution led to LOIs and contracts with utilities in Europe, Asia, South America and North America.
  • Asian Solar and Wind Turbine Company Expands to USA.
    Initiated and developed sales pipeline of more than $40 million of photovoltaic products.
  • Is Colorado REDI?
    Worked with Colorado’s Governor Energy Office analyzing “Renewable Energy Development Infrastructure.” The REDI Project analyzes how Colorado’s electric power sector can meet the Governor’s Climate Action Plan goal of a 20% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 2020.
  • China’s Wind Energy Growth Strategy & Opportunity.
    Conducted research and presented analysis of market opportunity and possible strategies.  Shanghai-based research included: Shanghai Electric, SEWind, GE Energy, Woodward Governor, Chinese Wind Energy Association, Nanhui Wind Farm Developers.
